The Career Center on campus (located two doors down from LAS Global Studies at 715 S. Wright Street) offers many resources to students to assist in the job search including:

The University of Illinois hosts several career fairs open to all majors each academic year including the

  • All-Campus Career Fair (spring semester)
  • Business Career Fair (fall and spring semesters)
  • Engineering Career Fair (fall and spring semesters)
  • Research Park Career Fair (spring semester)
  • ACES & Sciences Career Fair (fall semester)

Students should check the Events tab on iLink for an up to date listings of anticipated career fairs on campus. The Career Center usually offers several workshops before various career fairs to help students prepare how to get the most out of the fair.

LAS Global Studies advisors are also available to meet with students during an advising appointment to discuss job hunting preparation and strategy.
