Studying abroad was the best experience of my undergraduate career. I thought that I was going to miss out during the semester I would be gone, but instead I gained something so much more than others who did not go abroad. My experience as a student in Paris was much different than if I had been a tourist. My favorite aspect of studying abroad was experiencing the everyday life: going to the boulangerie every day and being recognized by the owner who called me always called me 'la petite fille'and walking to class, passing by cafes and seeing people drinking coffee or wine outside on a nice day.
